To address problems, engineers use TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving). It was developed by G. Altshuller, a patent engineer. TRIZ emerged from the analysis of numerous patents across various engineering fields. It was found that similar inventive solutions reappear in different patents, highlighting the recurring contradictions between desired outcomes and existing limitations. G.Altshuller further identified inventive principles underlying successful solutions, which he termed the "language of invention." This language comprises patterns of inventive thinking that function like an alphabet, while an algorithm serves as its grammar. This framework enables systematic problem analysis and step-by-step solution development.

Building on TRIZ principles, we have explored biological solutions to uncover a distinct problem-solving "language" in living nature. By aligning biological laws with the established numbering system of TRIZ inventive principles, we established compatibility between these two approaches. However, it's important to recognise the significant differences between biology and technology and that each biological law is much more fundamental and has more detailed implementation procedure than inventive principles in TRIZ.
